Sow now - December

So many seeds may be popped in the ground in December as the soil is warm and inviting. Ensure your soil stays moist whilst the seeds germinate - a layer of good quality compost will assist in moisture retention and also feed the soil. In our cool climate, it really is the last opportunity to sow heat loving crops such as melons, zucchini, cucumber and amaranth.
