Seeds to sow in May

In our cool climate, the soil is certainly starting to loose the stored heat from Summer, so the list of seeds to sow in May is narrowing. It is important to be aware that seeds will generally take longer to germinate at this time of the year, and will also take longer to reach maturity. Be patient! Ensure you soil is well prepared, and keep the soils moist until germination occurs. We have not had a lot of rain over the recent weeks, so additional irrigation will likely be required. Eat well, stay well.
