Buy direct from the grower

Selling direct to our customers is the most important part of our farming model.

 

Why?

 

We began growing vegetables for our kitchen over 25 years ago as we were tired of buying so called "fresh" produce which was limp, had travelled significant food miles, clearly was not nutrient dense and was just plain boring! Buying direct ensures you receive the freshest produce, as it is hand harvested specifically for your order.

Further, in purchasing your seeds direct from the grower, you know where your seed comes from, and that it is not chemically treated. All of our seeds are proven performers within our market garden, and as such, we are able to offer you specific growing advice. We regularly answer questions such as "why won't my beetroot bulb up?" and "why isn't my rhubarb producing?". Sharing our knowledge is a rewarding part of our business.
